Art in the Valley (209 SW 2nd Street) hosts “A Taste of France,”a photography show by Phil Coleman. Phil selected images from trips to France in 2024 and 2025. The primary purpose for each visit was to attend a small intensive French language school near Lyon. For 3 to 4 weeks each year, he was fully immersed - 24/7 - in the language (and the cuisine, thanks to the school’s excellent chef!). Afternoons and weekends were free, allowing him to take trains to interesting nearby towns - or end up in Paris - and take photos along the way. It was a great, if challenging, experience - and his marginal French did improve.
